Vinys
Neck pain exercises, chosen for today

Stop guessing which neck exercise is right today.

Neck pain is rarely about the neck alone. The shoulders and upper back set the position it holds all day, and stretching by itself doesn't change that. Tell Vinys what sets yours off, and in about two minutes you're following a gentle 20-minute video session built for your neck and the muscles that hold it. First session free.

Upper body warm-up, seatedBrings the shoulder girdle into the session, since the guideline's endurance work covers the neck and the shoulder girdle together.
Movement 1 of 7

This is the session, not a class. One guide, one movement at a time, a gentler version always one tap away.

I came for my shoulders and stayed for my nervous system. The sessions start slow enough that my brain actually settles.

Why the stretches you found didn't last

The stretch that loosens your neck for an hour leaves the cause untouched.

By four o'clock the screen has won.

The tightness across the tops of your shoulders has crept up into a headache at the base of your skull.

Reversing the car means turning your whole body.

One side turns a little. The other side stops short and reminds you why you stopped checking your blind spot.

Every video says stretch it out.

It feels better for ten minutes. By tomorrow afternoon you're back where you started, searching again.

The part a stretch list can't reach

Neck pain is rarely about the neck alone. The muscles of the upper back and shoulders set the position your neck has to hold all day, and hours of looking down leave them tired and undertrained. A stretch loosens the neck for a while, but it doesn't change what's holding it there. That's why stretching on its own rarely lasts, and why a Vinys session works the upper back and shoulders too, gently, at the range your neck can take today.

Your Vinys session

Starts from what sets your neck off

  • Asks what sets your neck off and how it feels today, before choosing anything
  • Movements that don't fit your answers are left out before you start
  • Put in the right order and amount, then guided on video, one movement at a time
  • A gentler version of every movement, one tap away
  • A stiff morning gets a different session from a loose one

The difference is not more stretching. It's less guessing.

What you get

Not a preview. A complete session for today.

Real movements from the Vinys library, chosen from your answers. Four of the movements a neck session can draw on:

Upper body warm-up, seatedBrings the shoulder girdle into the session, since the guideline's endurance work covers the neck and the shoulder girdle together.
Chin tuckA direct way to load the deep neck muscles that low-load endurance work depends on.
Cervical isometric holdGenuine low-load endurance work for the neck itself, the piece a few stretches alone do not deliver.
Serratus punchShoulder-girdle strength that shares the load the neck would otherwise carry alone.

Before you tap

The four things people ask first.

What if neck stretches have made it worse before?

That's exactly why Vinys asks what sets your neck off before choosing anything. You're not handed a list of stretches. You get the movements that fit your answers, each with a gentler version, and you're never asked to push through pain.

I can't get down to the floor.

Tell us. Every movement has a chair or wall version, and your session is built only from positions you mark as fine.

Do I need yoga experience?

No. It's guided movement, not a class to keep up with. One guide, one movement at a time, at a calm pace.

What does it cost, and what happens after?

Your first session is free. Card only if you start a trial. Afterwards you see the price and decide. Nothing is charged unless you choose to continue.
