Vinys
Arthritis exercises, chosen for today

Stop resting the sore joint. Start moving it the right amount.

A stiff joint gets stiffer the less you use it, and the muscles holding it weaken within weeks. Tell Vinys what makes your joints worse and how they feel today, and in a few minutes you're following a gentle 20-minute video session that works the joint without pushing it. First session free.

Why the stretches you found didn't stick

The joint you've been protecting is getting weaker, not better.

The first steps out of bed are the worst of the day.

You hold the doorframe while the knee decides whether it's going to bend.

You look for the handrail before the stairs.

Down is worse than up, and you plan your route through the house around it.

Every video is either deep squats or rest.

One says push through it, the next says protect it, and neither asked how your knee is today.

The part a stretch list can't know

Osteoarthritis is not simple wear and tear that gets worse the more you use the joint. Once a joint hurts, most people use it less, the muscles around it weaken within weeks, and the joint ends up with less support and more pain. Exercise is what breaks that loop, but the amount matters: too much on a flare day and you pay for it tomorrow, too little and the loop carries on. Vinys asks how the joint feels today. Your answers guide where we start, your responses during the session guide what comes next, and it holds back only the one thing worth holding back, deep positions held under your full body weight.

4 of 4major guidelines (NICE, OARSI, the American College of Rheumatology and EULAR) name exercise a core treatment for osteoarthritis. None of them says to protect the joint by resting it.

The YouTube arthritis routine you just tried

Same routine for every one of its million viewers

  • Same depth of squat whatever your knee says today
  • You decide what to skip, mid-pain
  • Someone else's pace
  • If it flares you, back to YouTube, search again

Your Vinys session

Starts from what makes your joints worse

  • Asks what makes your joints worse and how they feel today, and leaves out the deep loaded positions
  • Put in the right order and amount for how you feel today
  • Guided every movement, on video, at home
  • A gentler version of every movement, one tap away
  • A flare day gets a lighter session, not a week off

The difference is not more exercise. It's the right amount for today.

From people who'd stopped hoping.

I'd been told to stay active with my knee arthritis, but everything felt risky. Vinys started smaller than I thought possible and built up from there.
Michael T. · Knee osteoarthritis
My hands and wrists rule out half of normal yoga. Every session I get has already thought about that, so I don't have to.
Grace H. · Rheumatoid arthritis
This is the first practice that seems to understand what my hips will and won't forgive.
Marcus H. · Hip pain
Twenty years of a bad back taught me to fear exercise. This is the first practice that seems to understand what my back will and won't forgive.
David L. · Chronic lower back pain
After my back surgery I was terrified of moving again. Vinys filtered out what I couldn't do and slowly rebuilt my confidence.

Before you tap

The four things people ask first.

What if exercise has made my joints worse before?

Some ache during and shortly after moving is normal with osteoarthritis and is not damage. Pain that is still raised the next day means the amount was too much, not that moving was wrong. Vinys asks how the joint feels today before choosing anything, keeps the deep loaded positions out, and gives every movement a gentler version, so you're never asked to push through pain.

I can't get down to the floor.

Tell us. Every movement has a chair or wall version, and your session is built only from positions you mark as fine.

Do I need yoga experience?

No. It's guided movement, not a class to keep up with. One guide, one movement at a time, at a calm pace.

What does it cost, and what happens after?

Your first session is free. Card only if you start a trial. Afterwards you see the price and decide. Nothing is charged unless you choose to continue.

Your next move
